Presentation and discussion regarding Kelly Lane intersections.
Summary
At the August 13, 2019 City Council meeting Resolution Number 1708-19-08-13-0639 was passed providing direction to City staff regarding intersections along Kelly Lane. The resolution stated City staff would implement interim improvements and initiate an evaluation of the intersections: Kelly Lane at Villamoura/Falcon Pointe and Kelly Lane at Jakes Hill/Hidden Lake.
While preparing a professional services agreement for services related to the intersection study, several interim solutions have been implemented.
1. Public Works staff placed additional signage along Kelly Lane (two message boards, two cross road intersection signs with orange flags and LED lights that operate at night, and a radar trailer).
2. Pflugerville PD started close patrol in the area

The intersection study is expected to take a month to complete. After staff review and approval, a recommendation for a solution(s) will be brought forward to council for consideration.
