Approving a professional services supplemental agreement with DKS Associates, in the amount of $253,080.00 for professional engineering services associated with the Kelly Lane Major Investment Study (MIS) Phase 2 and authorizing the City Manager to execute same.
Summary
The Kelly Lane Major Investment Study phase 1 only included an intersection analysis of the Kelly Lane intersections at Jakes Hill and at Vilamoura. The Kelly Lane Major Investment Study (MIS) phase 2 includes the Kelly Lane corridor between FM 685 to Weiss Lane and other areas noted below. The MIS phase 2 includes data collection, use of origin-destination (OD) data, travel demand modeling and microsimulation, and testing of various intersection and/or roadway improvements to recommend short-term and long-term mitigations to address congestion and roadway safety issues in northeast Pflugerville area. Initial data collection and modeling have begun.
The Kelly Lane Major Investment Study Phase 2 will evaluate mobility and recommend mitigations to congested roadways and intersections in the northeast area of the City of Pflugerville, particularly:
? Kelly Lane Corridor
? FM 685/Wilke Lane/Kelly Lane interchange
? FM 685/Copper Mine Drive interchange
The project schedule will take approximately 10 months from NTP or completion of Phase 1.

DKS Associates is one of the seven (7) firms selected to assist the City with the 2019-2021 Transportation Improvements Projects at the April 9, 2019 City Council Meeting.
