Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: An ordinance of the City of Pflugerville, Texas, amending the City's Code of Ordinances Title III, Chapter 33 by repealing Section 33.01.(City Credit Card)

 

Summary

The City's maintains a business credit card account, as authorized by Ordinance 399-94-04-12 and codified as Section 33.10 of the Code of Ordinances. An increased limit for the business card account was authorized with the adoption of Ordinance 770-05-01-25.  In September, the City Council authorized the City to participate in the City of Fort Worth's Commercial Card Agreement, thereby eliminating the necessity for the City business credit card account.

 

The attached ordinance, drafted by the City Attorney, repeals Code of Ordinances Title III, Chapter 33, Section 33.01 and Ordinance 770-05-01-25.

 

Prior City Council Action

The City Council approved an interlocal agreement with Fort Worth on February 12, 2019.

The City Council authorized the City to participate in the City of Fort Worth's Commercial Card Agreement on September 10, 2019.

The City Council approved the proposed ordinance on first reading on November 12, 2019.

 

Deadline for City Council Action

Action on second and final reading is requested on November 26, 2019.
