Summary
Please find the attached letter from the City of Hutto requesting extending of the agreement from January 1, 2020 to January 1, 2021. The existing wholesale wastewater service agreement between the City of Hutto and Kelly Lane Utility Company was entered into June 9, 1999 and was assumed by the City of Pflugerville with the purchase of the Kelly Lane Utility Company in December 2002. The City of Hutto requests only a one-year extension as they will have provision of new wastewater at that time.
City staff have been evaluating this request in conjunction with the development of the city's wastewater master plan as well as evaluation of the Weiss Lane Lift Station and Force Main. Based on these assessments, the agreement can be extended for the term requested.
