Summary
On October 8, 2019, the City Council approved a motion to continue a public hearing regarding the creation of Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) Number Two to November 12, 2019. Since that time, staff has been in communication with the developer of NorthPointe as well as working on the creation of documents necessary for the creation of TIRZ Two. However, all of the documents necessary for the creation of TIRZ Number Two have not yet been finalized and additional time is necessary in order to have all documents in place prior to closing the public hearing and consideration of first reading of the ordinance. This resolution continues the public hearing to November 26, 2019.
