Presentation of a proclamation recognizing the Pflugerville High Engineering and Robotics Team for advancing to the 2019 Texas Boosting Engineering Science and Technology (BEST) UIL State Robotics Championship.
Summary
The Pflugerville High Engineering and Robotics Team (Team PHEAR) designed and built their robot using a set list of materials in six weeks and used their robot in a game involving the planting and harvesting of foam crops and corralling escaped plastic pigs to compete in the Capitol Boosting Engineering Science and Technology (BEST) Regional Contest in October. Team PHEAR took first in the Large School UIL Division at the Capitol BEST Regional Contest and took second place overall to qualify for the Texas BEST and UIL State Robotics Championship in Frisco this December 8-10, 2019 and also received the most robust design award. This proclamation is to offer congratulations on this achievement and best wishes at the State Competition.
