Summary
The Memorandum of Understanding sets forth the agreed terms and conditions of support to the Pflugerville Police Department (PPD) by the National Guard’s Joint Counterdrug Task Force (JCDTF) at the direction of the National Guard's Counterdrug Coordinator. The JCDTF will provide personnel for the purposes of data and intelligence analysis for projects or operations that have a drug nexus. In general, the National Guard will provide an analyst to the Pflugerville Police Department for the purpose of gathering, inputting and analysis of narcotics related data and intelligence. PPD will provide direct supervision of agency assigned duties, while the JCDTF analyst will remain under the command and control of the Counterdrug Coordinator with all personnel management processes handled by the JCDTF. Personnel provided will operate at no cost to the City of Pflugerville.
