Summary
On October 8, 2019, City Council conducted a public hearing and 1st Reading of an ordinance for approximately 120 acres along SH130 known as NorthPointe PUD. As required by the Unified Development Code (UDC), action on 2nd Reading is required within 60 days of the public hearing unless a 30 day extension is requested and granted by City Council. As part of the NorthPointe project, the applicant for the PUD is also seeking approval of a Public Improvement District (PID) and Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ). The applicant would like for the City to consider the PUD, PID and TIRZ on a similar time frame. At this time, the PID and TIRZ have not been finalized and therefore the applicant has requested an extension to the consideration of the 2nd reading of the PUD ordinance.

Prior City Council Action
