Summary
This project includes a full design for Colorado Sand Drive between Copper Mine Drive and the existing Colorado Sand Drive northwest of Lone Star Ranch Boulevard. The Colorado Sand Drive will be a divided four lane roadway and will be coordinated with the proposed Northpointe development. This project is one of the approved General Obligation (GO) Bond projects passed in 2018.
The supplemental agreement consists of wastewater analysis and wastewater improvements design to be completed in conjunction with the 0.55 mile extension of Colorado Sand Drive new location construction. The wastewater improvements will service the developable lots along the proposed Colorado Sand Drive extension.

City Council approved a professional services agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for professional engineering services associated with the Colorado Sand Drive roadway project at the October 8, 2019 meeting.
