Discussion regarding Pflugerville Fiscal Impact Model and Land Use Analysis project.
Summary
The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation is scheduled to discuss this item with the City Council at a joint worksession on December 10, 2019.
At the City Council retreat in April, the City Council discussed future land use land use planning and impact to zoning considerations, site development requirements, the creation and dissolution of special purpose districts, annexation, and the implementation of capital improvement projects associated with facilities, transportation, water and wastewater, based on the development and integration of financial impact modeling for the city. As a result of that retreat, on May 14th City Council authorized the City Manager to engage Verdunity to create a fiscal impact model and land use analysis specific to Pflugerville. At the August 13, 2019 Council worksession the team from Verdunity discussed their preliminary results. This item has been placed on the agenda to allow for continued discussion and to provide direction.
