Summary
Bid advertisements were placed on December 3, 2019 and December 10, 2019 and resulted in the submittal of two bids reviewed and presented by Kimley-Horn for review to the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) Board on December 18, 2019. The PCDC Board unanimously approved a contract with Cox Commercial Construction in the amount of $956,625.90 contingent upon City Council final consideration on January 14, 2020. Improvements include relocation of the Water Park entrance, signalization and improved access for pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
Prior City Council Action
The PCDC Board approved the Amended and Restated Water and Adventure Park Ground Lease and Operating Agreement between the PCDC and Typhoon Texas on November 15, 2018. The agreement was approved by the City Council on November 28, 2018. The PCDC obligation included improvements to relocate the Water Park entrance to align with Town Center Drive, new signalization, deceleration lanes and sidewalks in the TxDOT right-of-way on FM685.
