Title
Approving a supplemental agreement with Halff Associates, Inc. in the amount of $648,955 for professional engineering services associated with the 2019 Pflugerville Transportation Bond Projects: Picadilly Drive, Royston Lane, Central Commerce Drive projects and authorizing the City Manager to execute same.

Summary
The City Manager executed a professional services agreement with Halff Associates, Inc. on June 14, 2019 for 2019 Pflugerville Transportation Bond Projects Federal Funding Application in the amount of $39,810 to prepare and submit USDOT Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) application for funding for three roadways as part of the 2019 Pflugerville Transportation Bond program.

The first supplemental agreement was approved by City Council at the June 25, 2019 for $353,677.00 for the initial phase of Preliminary Design Schematic for each of the roadways, environmental analyses, preliminary geotechnical analyses, traffic counts and projections, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE). The schematic level of design was to submit to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for federal funding consideration. The preliminary design schematic has been accepted by City staff and submitted to TxDOT.

This supplemental agreement includes the development of construction Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E). The services are broke down into five (5) main tasks: project management, Subsurface Utility Engineering, Construction Documents, Public Involvement and Permitting.

Currently, there is only funding for the design portion of the projects. The construction portion is eligible for federal grant funding.

City Council approved a supplemental agreement with Halff Associates, Inc. in the amount of $353,677 at the June 25, 2019 meeting.
