Summary
At their regular meeting on November 26, 2019, the City Council appointed a bond committee to make recommendations regarding potential projects to be considered for a May 2, 2020 bond election. The Bond Committee held an initial meeting on December 18, 2019 to set a schedule, met on January 8, 2020 to discuss possible transportation projects, met on January 15, 2020 to discuss possible parks and recreation projects and met on January 22, 2020 to review financial implications and to further prioritize the list of proposed projects for preliminary review by the City Council at this meeting on January 28, 2020.
This item has been included on the agenda to allow representatives of the 2020 Capital Improvement Bond Committee to present their initial recommendations and to allow for City Council discussion regarding potential projects to be considered for a May 2, 2020 bond election.
The committee is scheduled to convene for a final meeting on February 5, 2020 to determine a final recommendation to forward to the City Council for consideration on February 11, 2020 regarding ordering a May 2, 2020 bond election.
