Discuss the proposed Water Master Plan and Wastewater Master Plan.
Summary
Freese and Nichols, Inc. (FNI) prepared a water master plan and wastewater master plan for the City to develop recommended water and wastewater improvements for 5-year, 10-year, and Buildout planning periods. FNI developed land use assumptions for the water and wastewater service areas and worked with staff to determine the timing of growth. Hydraulic models were developed and calibrated for the water and wastewater systems and used to evaluate the existing systems and the sizing of future improvements. A renewal CIP was also developed for both the water and wastewater system based on the condition and criticality of system assets. The results of the studies are summarized in the Water Master Plan and the Wastewater Master Plan.
