Presentation and discussion about the 2019 Pavement Management Services Pavement Condition Report.

 

Summary

This item has been included on the agenda to allow for a presentation and discussion about the 2019 Pavement Management Services Pavement Condition Report

 

The presentation will include information on the results from the pavement assessment completed in an effort to develop a Pavement Management Program.  The results will give an overview of the existing pavement conditions and total system needs to maintain the streets at an acceptable service level.

 

Provided in the report is a list of Projects identified as Maintenance, Rehabilitation (Major and Minor), and Reconstruction, as well as eight (8) Pavement Maintenance/Preservation Methods:

 

                     1.  Crack Sealing

                     2.  Single Chip Seal

                     3.  Double Chip Seal

                     4.  HA5 Treatment

                     5.  AC Patching

                     6.  Hot In-Place Recycling

                     7.  Milling and Overlay

                     8.  Full Depth Repair

 

Prior City Council Action

City Council approved a professional services agreement with DTS Engineering, LLC for professional services for the City-Wide Pavement Re-Evaluation at the April 9, 2019 meeting.
