Summary
The City of Pflugerville has retained Focused Advocacy in support of Pflugerville's Legislative Agenda and general state government advocacy efforts since 2012. These services were discontinued at the end of FY19 due to a lack of appropriation of funds to continue the contract in FY20.
The attached proposal considers a 24-month term, commencing in August 2020 through July 31, 2022 stratifying the upcoming 87th Legislative Session.
Prior City Council Action
The City Council, on March 13, 2018, authorized the extension of this service for a 24-month term through March 31, 2020. The contract, however, was terminated due to lack of appropriation at the end of fiscal year 2019 (FY19) and notice was provided accordingly.
