Authorizing the City Manager to execute an easement purchase agreement and associated conveyance documents between Charles Hardin Camp II and the City of Pflugerville as necessary to acquire real property interests for the SH 45 Water and Wastewater Line Project.
Summary
The SH 45 Water and Wastewater Extension Project consists of two gravity wastewater line extensions (2,800 LF of 15-inch and 700 LF of 24-inch) and one water line extension (670 LF of 16-inch) crossing under SH-45 to serve approximately 476 acres of undeveloped properties located northwest of the SH-45 and SH-130 interchange. The project requires acquisition of easements necessary to construct the project. City staff procured an appraisal and right-of-way services with Seven Arrows to assist with property acquisition for this project. The City’s property acquisition consultant and city staff have negotiated with the property owner for the required easement. The cost of $35,000 for an easement purchase agreement has been agreed upon, subject to City Council approval, based on negotiations between the property owner and City.
Approval of this item will authorize the City Manager to execute the easement purchase agreement and associated conveyance documents necessary for formal conveyance of the real property interests.
