Discussion regarding amending the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) bylaws to allow two City Councilmembers to serve on the PCDC Board of Directors and any other updates as needed.
Summary
This item has been included on the worksession agenda to allow for discussion regarding possible amendments to the PCDC bylaws. At the December 17, 2019 City Council special meeting, when making appointments to the PCDC Board, the City Council indicated they would like to consider amending the bylaws to allow for the appointment of two Councilmembers to the PCDC Board. The City Council noted their intent to look at this again at the January 10, 2020 retreat worksession and February 25, 2020 worksession when discussing takeaways from the retreat.
When the PCDC bylaws were adopted in January 2017, they were adopted by City Council action. The bylaws are required to be adopted by resolution. Following discussion of potential amendments, a resolution will be brought forward for consideration of formal adoption of the amended bylaws at a future meeting.
