Summary
Per Section 4.01 (c) 10 of the City Charter, if authorized by the City Council, the City Manager may sign any contract, conveyance or other document. The City of Pflugerville entered into the New Cele Subdivision Development Agreement on April 28, 2004, and was subsequently amended per the First Amended and Restated Development Agreement for New Cele Subdivision (Creekside Park) on May 15, 2007. The New Cele Subdivision Development Agreement and subsequent amendments governs the development of the Verona Subdivision. The subject property, described as Lot 11A, Block L, Verona Section 1 Subdivision was platted in 2016 and was designated as an open space, public drainage easement, and public parkland lot and is approximately 59.532 acres.

Per Subchapter 14 Parkland Standards, Section 14.3.6 of the Unified Development Code, parkland shall be conveyed by general or special warranty deed with acceptable evidence of clear title, and the developer shall provide a title policy and pay all costs of transferring title to the City.

The City Attorney has reviewed the Special Warranty Deed.
