Discuss and consider action to approve a resolution establishing a Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee and appointing its members.
Summary
The attached resolution would establish a Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee that will work with City staff our the City's consultant in the development, facilitation, production and delivery of a new City of Pflugerville Comprehensive Plan.
The Comprehensive Plan process is expected to take approximately 15 months and the CPAC will meet six (6) times during that period to provide valuable feedback regarding the direction of the Comprehensive Plan. The CPAC will be comprised of 22 Pflugerville residents of which, 8 were provided by City Council and the balance submitted applications for consideration.
The CPAC is proposed to be comprised of the following members:
