Discuss and consider action to authorize the City Manager to execute a purchasing agreement with the Public Restroom Company in the amount of $678,231.00 for the purchase and installation of a shower/restroom facility and an office facility utilizing the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) cooperative purchasing contract (BuyBoard).

Summary
This agenda item has been presented to request consideration for approval of purchasing two (2) prefabricated building facilities as part of the Gilleland Creek Pool Bathhouse Improvements project. Project scope is to install a new bath house/restroom facility, a new guardhouse/ticket window facility, installation of approved facility non-climb fencing, and access improvements to meet current Americans with Disability Act (ADA) guidelines. The method of purchasing for the structures is through BuyBoard.
Breakdown expenses as proposed for the BuyBoard purchase amounts for each facility noted below:
A. Guardhouse (Office Building) facility Purchase $177,624.00
B. Guardhouse (Office Building) facility (installation fee) $ 32,510.00
C. Restroom facility $433,552.00
D. Restroom facility (installation fee) $ 34,545.00
Total Proposed Amount $678,231.00
This project encompasses removal and replacement of two (2) Gilleland Pool support building facilities including the restroom/changing room facility (bath house) and the existing residential structure (guard facility). The guard facility building is currently designated for point of sale and storage. The existing structures were severely damaged in the flood events of the past several years. The existing residential structure has been deemed unsafe for public use and the bath house structure does not meet ADA accessible requirements and has structural and has mechanical issues as well.
