Conduct a public hearing and a receive a presentation regarding the issuance of Travis County MUD No. 23 - $6,500,000 Unlimited Road Bonds, Series 2021.
Summary
Ms. Cheryl Allen of Public Finance Group will provide a presentation.
Section 8.02(d) of the Consent Agreement for Travis County MUD No. 23 stipulates that at least (90) prior to the issuance of Bonds, the District's Financial Advisor shall participate in a public hearing held by the City, and shall present the following:
(1) The amount of Bonds being proposed for issuance;
(2) The projects to be funded by such Bonds; and
(3) The proposed debt service tax rate after issuance of the Bonds.
At least thirty (30) days before the issuance of Bonds, excepting refunding Bonds, the District's Financial Advisor will provide the City Manager and City Attorney a letter
confirming that the Bonds are being issued within the current economic feasibility guidelines established by the TCEQ. The letter will also provide the following information:
(4) The amount of the Bonds being proposed for issuance;
(5) The projects to be funded by such Bonds; and
(6) The proposed debt service tax rate after issuance of the Bonds.
Bonds are anticipated to be sold in January, 2021.
The corresponding Consent Agreement is attached as a matter of reference.
Prior City Council Action
Consent for Travis County MUD 23, formerly Travis County MUD 22, was granted by the City Council on December 28, 2015.
