Summary
The Finance Department developed a Cash Handling Policy to clearly define the responsibilities of employees handling cash and cash equivalents as well as ensure control and safekeeping and will implement mandatory training on the policy for employees and their supervisors. The Finance and Budget Committee met on November 12, 2020 and took action to recommend the attached policy for Council approval.
