Summary
The proposed annexation consists of a total of approximately 5.205 acres located along east side of Weiss Lane at the intersection of Jesse Bohls Road, within the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction. The annexation includes a 4.724-acre tract and the abutting Jesse Bohls Road totaling approximately 0.481 acres. The subject property is contiguous to properties within the City limits and therefore is eligible for voluntary annexation in accordance with state law.

Pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code (TLGC) Section 43.0672, the City entered into a written agreement with the owners of land in the area for the provision of City services on December 3, 2020. Pursuant to Section 43.106 of the TLGC, a municipality that proposes to annex territory that abuts a county road must also annex the entire width of the county road. The proposed annexation abuts Jesse Bohls Road, a Travis County road, and therefore, the City will be required annex the portion of Jesse Bohls Road abutting the subject property petitioned for annexation.
