Summary
The City Charter provides that the Mayor, with advice and consent of the City Council, shall appoint not less than five individuals to serve on the Personnel Appeal Board for up to three years. The City Council confirmed the Mayor's appointment of Personnel Appeal Boardmembers at their regular meeting on December 8, 2020. Mark Lee has since submitted his application for reappointment to the Personnel Appeal Board and Mayor Gonzales recommends his reappointment at this time. The Personnel Appeal Board requires a minimum of five members. No maximum number of members is provided in the City Charter. Current Personnel Appeal Board members are Bruce Tabor, Lorena DeZeeuw, Doris Williams, Terry Knighton, Shelley Helyer, and Danielle Williams. Mr. Lee's application will be provided to the City Council separate from the agenda.
