Summary
In accordance with the Amendment No. 2 to the Pflugerville East Land Development Agreement dated December 18, 2001, the City agreed to pursue the release of Manville Water Supply Corporation (Manville) Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) covering the property associated with the proposed CCN transfer, which is located in Northeast Travis County Utility District (NETCUD). The City currently owns the water utility infrastructure internal to NETCUD. The subject property is proposed to be developed and is pursuing water service from the City in accordance with the 2001 agreement.
Manville has no objections, per the attached letter, to the City of Pflugerville providing water service to the subject properties, subject to the Public Utility Commission (PUC) approval. Compensation in the amount of $1,400 per acre is proposed by Manville to compensate them for the CCN transfer. The proposed agreement requires the property owner, BLD VOHL 6A-1, LLC to pay the $1,400 per acre. Once the payment is made to Manville, the City will submit an application to the PUC to formally transfer the properties to the City of Pflugerville Water CCN.
