Summary
The purpose of this item is to accept a right of way dedication deed of 0.073 acres or 3,188 square feet at the southeast corner of Pfluger Farm Lane and Town Center Drive. The justification for the additional right of way is to accommodate the extension of Pfluger Farm Lane to the north and retrofitting this intersection with a roundabout. The roundabout and Phase 1 construction of Pfluger Farm are funded by the developer of the Lifestyle Communities project located to the north of the intersection.
While the project is being initiated by Lifestyle Communities, the right of way is being donated by the developer of Stone Hill Town Center, New Quest.
A 10-foot public utility easement (PUE) is also anticipated for dedication parallel to this dedication.
Prior City Council Action
In 2020, City Council approved a "City/Owner Agreement" which was fully executed on December 21, 2020.
