Title
Discuss and consider action to approve a Professional Services Supplemental Agreement with LJA Engineering, Inc., for professional engineering services associated with the East Pflugerville Parkway Extension east of Weiss Lane to the City’s eastern city limits in the amount of $355,494.75.

Summary
The supplemental agreement being considered provides for the final design and construction phase services for the East Pflugerville Parkway Extension (east of Weiss Lane to the eastern City Limits) approved as part of the 2018 General Obligation (GO) Transportation Bond. The work scope as proposed allows LJA to incorporate the completed work efforts of the Preliminary Design and Schematic that has already been performed. This supplemental is to provide full design. The 2018 GO Bond scope would be can be completed as part of the proposed work to develop design 100% bidding documents for the plans, specifications and a cost estimate extending East Pflugerville Parkway east of Weiss Lane to create a continuous arterial route along the existing Jesse Bohls Drive. The project is in both the City and Travis County.

The original Professional Services Agreement, approved by Council October 8, 2019, was for preliminary engineering and schematic design of this portion as well as the corridor from Colorado Sand to the west and Cameron Road in Travis County to the east, with an Interlocal Agreement with Travis County for reimbursement to the City for the County portion. The final design for the portion approved by voters in the 2020 Bond election (from Colorado Sand to Weiss Lane) will be a separate supplemental agreement that will be considered by Council in the near future
