Summary
The City of Pflugerville acquired the Comerica Bank building in January 2020 for $800,000. The building, located at 100 W. Main Street, became available after Comerica relocated operations to another location in the community. Constructed in 1974, the building requires interior renovations to accommodate City staff office needs. The interior renovations of the existing 5,200 sq ft single story building includes renovation scope includes reconfiguration of office, restroom, storage and meeting spaces.

This project allows for the consolidation of staff and functions currently in leased office spaces, including Planning & Development Services, People & Culture, and Police Internal Affairs.

Furniture selections are pending and not included in this award.

Final completion of the work is anticipated in 120 calendar days.

Prior City Council Action
On July 28, 2020, City Council awarded a contract to kga to provide plans for the interior tenant improvements.

On October 8, 2019, City Council approved RES 1722-19-10-08-0661 which authorized the acquisition of the former Comerica Bank site/building. The transaction closed on January 9, 2020.
