Summary
The Committee was established to include the Parks and Recreation Commission Chair or designee to serve as the Committee Chair and 8 citizen members. Raul Capetillo is serving as the Committee Chair. Five applications have been received for appointment to the Deutschen Pfest Committee from Melissa Call, Crystaleen Guerra, Laura Luther, Linda Botello and Robert Romig. The applications will be provided to the City Council separate from the agenda. Additional appointments to the Deutschen Pfest Committee will be brought forward to the Council for consideration as applications are received.
The resolution indicates that the terms will be for staggered two-year terms. The action on these appointments provides for future appointments to be considered at the end of each year with the other boards, commissions and committees, with the terms beginning on January 1.
