Summary
While considering appointment to a vacant position on the Equity Commission on June 22, 2021, the City Council indicated interest in adding an alternate position to the Equity Commission. This ordinance amendment has been provided to add the alternate position. A second reading to finalize the ordinance is planned for the July 27, 2021 City Council regular meeting and an item to consider appointments to the Equity Commission for the vacant positions will be brought forward at that same meeting.

The City Council approved the Ordinance No. 1450-20-07-14 to create an Equity Commission on July 14, 2020.
This ordinance was approved on first reading on July 13, 2021.
