Summary
At the June 22, 2021 meeting, the City Council indicated a desire to appoint a bond committee to present recommendations for a potential special bond election. Some interest in appointing members from the 2019-2020 bond committee was noted and Resolution No. 1737-19-11-26-0683 making those appointments is attached.
If a November 2021 bond election is anticipated, plans are that the bond committee would meet 3 times on July 20, July 29, and August 10. Meetings would start at 6pm and are anticipated to last 2-3 hours. It would be essential for appointed members to confirm their commitment and availability for these dates for full participation should Council decide on a November bond election.
If a May 2022 bond election is anticipated, a schedule for dates and times for upcoming bond committee meetings would be set in the near future.
