Summary
On April 13, 2021, Council directed Staff to terminate the existing contract for collection of delinquent court fines and fees and to proceed with a Request for Proposal (RFP) for said services.
The City received four responses to the RFP which was issued and advertised from May 12th to May 24th. The RFP Review Committee evaluated all four submissions and interviewed the top two vendors on 6/15/21. Following the interviews, Staff recommends awarding the contract to McCreary, Veselka, Bragg & Allen, P.C (MVBA).
Prior City Council Action
On 4/13/21 council terminated existing contract with Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP and directed staff to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP).
