Discussion regarding possible projects/proposition items for a special bond election.
Summary
This item has been included on the agenda to allow for discussion. Staff with the architectural firm, PGAL, will facilitate the Bond Committee discussion regarding community and organizational needs based on a City Hall Needs Assessment that was completed by PGAL in 2019. Additional facilities, departments, functions may be considered in the discussion in order to promote efficiencies of the City of Pflugerville.
The committee is anticipated to convene on July 20 and July 29 with a presentation on August 10 to the City Council regarding the status and recommendations of the committee.
The deadline to order a bond election for November 2, 2021 is August 16th. The next available uniform election date is May 7, 2022 in which the election must be ordered by February 18.
