Summary
The Cielo North Subdivision is located on the north side of Pflugerville Parkway at Jazz Street. This license agreement grants the Cielo North developer the right to use 0.558 acres out of adjacent City right-of-way along Jazz Street for turf and irrigation improvements associated with the proposed development. Per City code criteria, the Cielo North development will be installing the turf and irrigation improvements to improve the aesthetic appearance of the project and the adjacent City right-of-way. The agreement outlines that it will be the developer’s responsibility to maintain as well as repair or relocate the landscape improvements, as needed.
The proposed improvements will not conflict or interfere with the City’s use of the right-of-way. Requiring the developer to maintain this area improves the aesthetics of the area and reduces the maintenance burden on the City.
This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to sign the right-of-way license agreement for this project.
