Roadway Impact Fees to include an updated roadway impact fee service area map and provisions relating to appraisals for estimating fair market value for the dedication of right-of-way, and approving a Roadway Impact Fee Study 2022 Update incorporated herein; containing severability and repealer clauses; and providing an effective date.
Summary
The City previously adopted the roadway impact fee ordinance on November 24, 2020 and codified within Chapter 152, Subchapter B of the Code of Ordinances. The proposed amendments to the roadway impact fee ordinance to include an updated service area map by which roadway impact fees are assessed. The updated service area map includes areas subsequently annexed by the City after the adoption of the roadway impact fee ordinance in 2020. The ordinance also includes minor revisions providing for methodology in determining the fair market value of right-of-way relating to right-of-way dedication and the determination rough proportionality.
