Approving the selection of CBRE, Inc. and Atrium Real Estate Services to provide On-Call Appraisal Services and authorizing the City Manager to enter into negotiations as needed regarding scopes of work and fee proposals.
Summary
The City of Pflugerville solicited requests for qualifications for property appraisal services in December 2021. City staff received five (5) statements of qualifications (SOQs) which were reviewed and scored. Staff recommends selecting the top two (2) of the five (5) responders for inclusion in our list of appraisal services. The top ranking firms from the scoring are CBRE, Inc. and Atrium Real Estate Services. These consultant teams will be considered for appraisal services projects currently listed in the City's five (5) year Capital Improvement Program plan and any other City appraisal needs.
These scopes of work may include property appraisal services, document preparation, along with any site work, and will provide the City appraisals that are consistent and within all laws and regulations.
By creating a pre-qualified list of appraisal firms for the City's five (5) year Capital Improvement Program plan, City staff will be able to move quickly to start the property acquisition process on all necessary projects since the qualifications of the firms have already been vetted and the selection of the firms approved by City Council. Where required by City procurement requirements, future professional service agreements related to appraisal services will be brought forward for City Council consideration
