Title
Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: An Ordinance of the City of Pflugerville vacating an approximately .193 acres of Meister Lane right-of-way, situated in the J. Van Winkle Survey, Abstract No. 787, the P. Conrad Survey, Abstract No. 200, and the W. Summary
The request is to vacate approximately 0.193 acres of existing Meister Lane, generally located south of State Highway 45, north of New Meister Lane, east of Schultz Lane, and west of Heatherwilde Blvd. The requested segment of right-of-way proposed for vacation was a part of the recently annexed 0.735 acres that was approved by City Council on second reading on January 24, 2023 and was at the request of Travis County. The area that is proposed to be vacated is adjacent and a continuation of the 2.3 acre segment of Meister Lane that was approved to be vacated by City Council in March 2022. The purpose of the proposed and previous vacation requests for the Meister Lane segments is to provide for the future extension of Kenney Fort Blvd. as part of the overall Longhorn development. None of the vacation documents for Meister Lane will be recorded until such time that the parallel segments of Kenney Fort Blvd. have been constructed and accepted by the City.

Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends approval, conditioned on the vacation document not being recorded until the southern extent of Kenney Fort Blvd. is constructed and accepted by the City.
