Summary
In 2012, the City of Pflugerville became a partner in the Community Advancement Network (CAN). CAN consists of partners in government, non-profit, and faith based organizations that work to improve social, health, education and economic opportunities in Central Texas. CAN is currently set up under the umbrella of Integral Care and is now working to establish the organization as a non-profit in order to be more independent and simplify administrative functions of the organization. Each year City Council appoints a Council member to participate in this group and Council Member Holiday is Council's current representative. Additionally, Council has approved, annually, the required membership fee of $500.
