Title
Approving a resolution accepting the final report for the multi-generational recreation center to be located in Downtown East.

Summary
The City's consultant, FGM Architects, Inc. with a subconsultant team of Barker Rinker Seacat (BRS) Architecture, provided an update on the programming efforts of the future multi generational recreation center (PfRC), to be located in Downtown East, at the October 25th City Council meeting. During this meeting options were discussed related to the various components that could be included in the PfRC.

This resolution confirms and documents the programming for the recreational facility within Downtown East that would include four basketball courts, large leisure water facility with lap lanes, large weight room, an indoor turf field, a multi-level adventure/walking track throughout the whole facility and related support programming such as child watch, indoor play ground, party rental rooms and event space. The next steps will be to further the design of the recreation center in conjunction with the development of Downtown East.
