This resolution authorizes the City Manager to apply for and accept, if awarded, a Criminal Justice Program Grant award in the amount of $156,310 from the Office of the Governor for the purchase of equipment and overtime funding for project support personnel to establish effective operations of targeted enforcement to combat gang and violent crimes within the City of Pflugerville where gang members are recruited and where gangs operate.
There is no funding match for this grant from the City. Approval is also requested to authorize the City Manager to sign all necessary documents upon final approval of the City Attorney.
