Approving a resolution of the City of Pflugerville, Texas appointing representatives to the Technical Advisory Committee of the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Transportation Policy Board.

Summary
The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) Transportation Policy Board approved new bylaws governing the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) earlier this year which reduced the number of entities and members on the committee from 33 to 24. Pflugerville will continue to have a role on the TAC. The composition of the TAC is shown below:

City of Austin 3 Primary and 3 Alternate Voting Representatives
Each County (6) 1 Primary and 1 Alternate County Voting Representative, and 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Smaller Cities Voting Representative
City of Cedar Park 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative
City of Georgetown 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative
City of Pflugerville 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative
City of Round Rock 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative
City of San Marcos 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative
Cap Metro 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative
CARTS 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative

Status
Guidelines for appointments to the Technical Advisory Committee have been provided by CAMPO and are attached. The guidance provides that "in order to ensure that the TAC functions as intended, it is important that each member jurisdiction of the Transportation Policy Board (TPB) appoint TAC members and alternates that have the knowledge, experience, and responsibility to represent them.
